What is the big goal?

Changing Lives
Through Football

The Big Goal is a national movement using football to change lives.

Powered by the Street Soccer Foundation, the campaign initiative brings together UK companies as members of The Big Goal in order to sponsor the places of vulnerable and disadvantaged young people affected by homelessness, hardship, and unemployment.

Sponsored young people are recruited onto the Street Soccer Foundation’s nationally acclaimed personal development programme, the ‘Street Soccer Academy’ – the No.1 football-led project tackling youth homelessness in the UK.

All young people joining the Academy programme do so in a safe space, and build their confidence, resilience, self-belief and aspirations to achieve better future prospects.

Together, Changing Lives through Football.

Why Join The Big Goal?

Support a cause that transforms lives and see a real-world difference your sponsorship provides, empowering disadvantaged young people through football and mentorship.

Be part of a national campaign backed by Sky Sports and one that is celebrated all year round for its achievements in tackling youth homelessness.

Inspire and unite your team by joining a national movement to help end the biggest social issue in the UK – all the while gaining the chance to play in The Big Goal National Football Tournament.

When you join The Big Goal, you don’t just contribute...

you become part of a movement that’s driving lasting change.

Why THE BIG GOAL EXISTS

Every year, thousands of young people in the UK face homelessness and lack opportunities to break free from cycles of poverty. The Big Goal was created to change that.

By combining football’s universal appeal with corporate partnership, we deliver Street Soccer Academies that provide young people with essential life skills, confidence, and pathways to employment, education, and stability.

Our mission is simple: to help eradicate youth homelessness.

By purchasing a ticket, reserving a table, or entering into a sponsorship agreement for the Event, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.

1. Event Details

The Organiser reserves the right to amend the Event date, venue, format, content, speakers, entertainment or programme where reasonably necessary.

While every effort will be made to deliver the Event as advertised, the Organiser does not guarantee the appearance of any particular guest speaker, performer or personality.

2. Bookings & Payment

2.1 Tickets & Tables

  • Tickets and tables may be transferred to another named guest with prior written notice to the Organiser.

Sponsorship fees are non-refundable once marketing, promotional or production benefits have commenced.

As this is a fundraising event in support of the Street Soccer Foundation’s charitable work, many costs are committed in advance and refunds cannot generally be provided.

The Organiser shall not be liable for any consequential losses, including travel or accommodation costs.

5. Sponsorship Benefits & Branding

Sponsors grant the Organiser a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use their company name and logo for the purposes of promoting and delivering the Event.

The Organiser will use reasonable endeavours to deliver the agreed sponsorship benefits but reserves the right to make minor changes where operationally necessary.
