The Big Goal Sleepout

One night. One shared experience. A powerful reason to take part.

Friday 11 December 2026 | London

On Friday 11 December, The Big Goal will bring business and football together for something very different.

As part of our National Football For Good Day, we will come together in London for The Big Goal Sleepout: spending one night sleeping outdoors in solidarity with young people facing homelessness.

It won’t recreate the reality of homelessness. But it will give us one night to stop, reflect and take action.

Because while we sleep out for one night, young people face the uncertainty of homelessness every night.

And that’s something we can help change.

Why the Sleepout exists

Raise awareness and funds

The Big Goal exists to bring businesses together to create positive social impact through football.

The Big Goal Sleepout gives our business community another way to do exactly that.

By taking part, you will:

Challenge yourself – step outside your comfort zone and experience something genuinely different.

Stand in solidarity – spend a night outdoors alongside fellow business leaders, professionals and supporters.

Raise funds that fund places – your fundraising will help the Street Soccer Foundation create opportunities and better futures for young people facing homelessness and disadvantage.

Lead by example – show your colleagues, customers and wider network that social impact isn’t something to talk about. It’s something to act on.

THIS IS A FUNDRAISING CHALLENGE

The Big Goal Sleepout is not simply an event. It is a fundraising challenge.

We are asking every participant to make a commitment to raise at least £500 through sponsorship and donations: a sum that can fund one young person’s full journey through our Street Soccer Academy, from start to finish.

All funds raised will help support the work of the Street Soccer Foundation and young people facing disadvantage, exclusion and homelessness.

YOUR NIGHT CAN HELP CHANGE SOMEONE'S FUTURE

And if you would like to make an additional personal donation when you register, you can choose to do so.

For example:

£500 – could help secure temporary accommodation, such as a hostel place, budget hotel stay or deposit towards room rental.
£200 – could help provide warm clothing and basic necessities.
£100 – could help provide food for a week or more.
£50 – could help cover a few nights in a shelter that charges a small fee.

Donations are entirely optional and are separate from your fundraising commitment.

The Big Goal Sleepout

WHO CAN TAKE PART?

The Big Goal Sleepout is open to business leaders, employees, teams and supporters who want to take action and make a difference.

Whether you come as a CEO, senior leader, colleague or simply someone who believes in what we’re trying to achieve, you’ll be part of a shared experience with a common purpose.

Come alone. Bring your colleagues. Challenge your leadership team.

The important thing is that you come.

WHAT TO EXPECT

The Big Goal Sleepout will bring together members of The Big Goal business community and supporters of the Street Soccer Foundation for an evening of reflection, connection and action.

You’ll receive everything you need to prepare for the night, including information about the event, fundraising guidance and what to bring.

And yes, you’ll be sleeping outdoors.

It will be uncomfortable. It will be challenging. But it will be worth it.

Because this isn’t about pretending we understand what homelessness feels like.

It’s about choosing to do something about it.

READY TO TAKE ON THE CHALLENGE?

Register your interest for The Big Goal Sleepout

Spaces for our inaugural Sleepout are limited.

One night from you could help create many better nights for someone else.

The Big Goal is powered by the Street Soccer Foundation, registered charity 1189558.

  • Tickets and tables may be transferred to another named guest with prior written notice to the Organiser.

Sponsorship fees are non-refundable once marketing, promotional or production benefits have commenced.

5. Sponsorship Benefits & Branding

Sponsors grant the Organiser a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use their company name and logo for the purposes of promoting and delivering the Event.
